Trevor Borman, a native of Tennessee, brings a warm, personable teaching style and a diverse range of aviation experience to East Aviation. An avid outdoorsman with a passion for adventure, Trevor is drawn to the hands-on side of flying—especially tailwheel operations and ferry flights, where skill, precision, and adaptability come together. Trevor holds CFI, CFII, and MEI credentials and has built a broad foundation of experience across multiple aircraft and environments. He was mentored by a well-known Designated Pilot Examiner (DPE) in the Memphis area, whose guidance helped shape Trevor’s commitment to strong fundamentals, disciplined airmanship, and genuine care for each student’s success. Known for his easygoing nature and personable approach, Trevor connects quickly with his students and creates a positive, encouraging training environment. His ability to blend technical proficiency with real-world flying experience makes him a valued part of the East Aviation team and a trusted guide for aviators
