Brian Baltz brings a distinguished background and a student-first mindset to East Aviation. A former U.S. Air Force KC-135 Boom Operator, Brian served with honor and precision before transitioning into general aviation, where he has accumulated more than 20 years of experience. Driven by a commitment to elevate safety, professionalism, and the quality of pilot training, Brian established his own flight training school to meet the growing need for highly qualified, student-focused instruction. His dedication to developing confident, capable aviators aligns directly with East Aviation’s mission of paying it forward and strengthening aviation communities through mentorship and stewardship. Brian holds multiple FAA credentials, including CFI, CFII, Advanced Ground Instructor (AGI), Instrument Ground Instructor (IGI), and Commercial Pilot ratings in both single- and multi-engine aircraft with instrument privileges. His combined military and civilian background gives him a unique perspective that blends discipline, technical expertise, and real-world experience—qualities his students deeply appreciate. We are proud to have Brian as part of our instructional team, and we are grateful for the professionalism, knowledge, and passion he brings to every student he teaches.
